Those are all aerial, so the perspective is different. Here's a crappy phone photo from the ground:

Key features: bright yellow becoming vibrant orange. Often mixed with few to scattered of both cirrus and altocumulus (last picture), or broken stratocumulus (pictures 1-3). High humidity enhances color and carries light for the entire horizon.

It's very hard to describe, but Floridian sunsets are not like sunsets anywhere else in the United States except for perhaps Hawaii. The atmospheric phenomena here make them exceptionally marvelous.

By the way, everyone needs to see an airborne sunset at least once, and I don't mean from the small window of a jetliner.

Fun fact: with an airplane of only moderate speed, you can make the sunset go backwards.

Finally got the camera out again, if only for a brief moment. On a side note: walking around the roof is easy, getting down when one of the residents wants to read you the riot act takes a little longer.

I picked up this enlarger from a professional lab that decided to go digital and have been working on restoring it (after years of hard use the electronics have not aged well and there is some rust). It's a Durst L1200 with a closed loop, computer controlled VC head. Provided I can get it working again without spending too much (new parts are very expensive), I'll have one fine enlarger on my hands! :D

The major one is during Comic-Con at the end of July and there are few during other parts of the year. It is always a blast to go and take photos. I think during the next one I will put makeup on and go as a zombie.
